Meet the team
Sharman Dennis started Animal Angels back in 1993. She previously owned a pet shop and customers would often ask if she knew anyone who could look after their pets while they were away. This inspired her to establish Animal Angels.
Having pets of her own (two German Shepherds and two cats), Sharman knows how important it is to feel secure about their care when going away on holiday.
Christine Webb joined the team back in 2002 and is now the Office Manager. Christine has a Chocolate Labrador called Scooby, a Lhasa Apso puppy called Phebe and two cats. Scooby often comes into the office with Christine, especially when we’re interviewing new house and pet sitters and Phebe joins her in the office every day.
Wendy Bishop joined us in June 2008. Wendy has a fantastic sense of humour and thoroughly enjoys speaking to our sitters and clients about their furry friends. She has a rescue cat called Dodgey – a handsome chap who fits his name.
Sam Jones joined the team in March 2011. Unfortunately she doesn’t have any pets of her own but she adores animals and has a great rapport with our clients as well as our cat and dog sitters.
Beth Harding is newest member of our team, joining in January 2012. She has a cat called Bingo, two guinea pigs called Bubble and Squeak and a 10 year old goldfish called Muhammed Ali - named so as he has survived many rounds with Bingo the cat!
